Has a nice pool the is relatively inexpensive to join. Open registration to outsiders. The pool is unheated but it has a small sauna and bathrooms. A good location for leisure reading and swimming without too many party goers or children.

A renowned restaurant that is more for tourists and suburbanites wanting to feel like a Hampdenite (What ever that means). The restaurant has an array of American dishes and a bar adjoins the dining area. Often busy, the service can be harried and the prices on the high end.

The school has large parking lot in the back. Sometimes residents use the parking lot for fireworks so be aware if parking in the lot.
