Has a nice pool the is relatively inexpensive to join. Open registration to outsiders. The pool is unheated but it has a small sauna and bathrooms. A good location for leisure reading and swimming without too many party goers or children.

A renowned restaurant that is more for tourists and suburbanites wanting to feel like a Hampdenite (What ever that means). The restaurant has an array of American dishes and a bar adjoins the dining area. Often busy, the service can be harried and the prices on the high end.
